Sony has released the first trailer for the long overdue sequel/reboot to the beloved 'Ghost Busters' films which starred Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson. The franchise itself spent much time in development hell as many attempts were made to create a new film with the original cast. Eventually it was decided to relaunch the franchise with a female cast of characters.

Ghostbusters makes its long-awaited return, rebooted with a cast of hilarious new characters. Thirty years after the beloved original franchise took the world by storm, director Paul Feig brings his fresh take to the supernatural comedy, joined by some of the funniest actors working today – Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, and Chris Hemsworth. This summer, they’re here to save the world!

Ghostbusters arrives in theatres on July 15, 2016.
