Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and Han Solo mount a daring escape in George Lucas' iconic science-fiction adventure STAR WARS.

When a young farm boy, Luke Skywalker (MARK HAMILL), who dreams of nothing more than to join the rebellion to fight the Empire, lead by Darth Vader (DAVID PROWSE) and Grand Moff Tarkin (PETER CUSHING), finds a distress call from Princess Leia (CARRIE FISHER), he embarks unexpectedly on an adventure with a reclusive hermit named Ben (SIR ALEC GUINNESS), Han Solo (HARRISON FORD), a smuggler, his co-pilot Chewbacca (PETER MAYHEW), a Wookie, and a pair of droids, C-3PO (ANTHONY DANIELS) and R2-D2 (KENNY BAKER).
