Lt. Kinderman (GEORGE C. SCOTT) investigates a series of homicides whose methods are strikingly similar to those of "The Gemini Killer" who was executed fifteen years prior.

 

While investigating a series of homicides, Lt. Kinderman (GEORGE C. SCOTT) notices the methods are strikingly similar to those of "The Gemini Killer" who was executed fifteen years ago. His search takes an unexpected turn when he finds a mental patient who has connections to his friend Father Karras (BRAD DOURIF), who died from a fall down a long flight of stairs fifteen years ago.
