The crew of deep-sea drilling rig encounter something inexplicable at the bottom of the sea in THE ABYSS.

Deep-sea engineers Bud and Lindsey Brigman (ED HARRIS and MARY ELIZABETH MASTRANTONIO) must set aside their differences when they are drafted to assist a Navy SEAL team, led by Lt. Coffey (MICHAEL BIEHN), with a top-secret recovery operation.
